ECO Transit currently offers various pass options for riders.  The chart below outlines the price per route by pass type for all riders.  ECO Transit does offer yearly passes for youths and seniors with proper documentation, please see the applications below for additional details.  "Per Ride" and "1-day Unlimited Pass" can be purchased on the bus through the farebox.  Be sure to inform the driver of the pass option you are purchasing.  "30-day unlimited pass" and "10-ride pass" may be purchased in advance at one of the following locations:

  • Vail Transportation Center (VTC - Vail)
  • City Market (Avon)
  • Pepitos (Edwards)
  • The Thrifty Store (Edwards)
  • Eagle Pharmacy (Eagle)
  • Columbine Market (Gypsum)
  • Eagle County Maintenance Service Center (MSC - Gypsum)

*If you do not have the exact amount, the fare box will issue you a "Change Card" to be used on future rides or passes.  Change Cards cannot be exchanged for cash on the bus or at the Vail Transportation Center. 

Eagle County Youth Pass (18 years and under): $25 per annual (365-day) pass (some restrictions apply) or $1 per ride with proof of age (valid government issued ID with a date of birth) if required.  All children 5 years and under ride free.

Eagle County Senior Pass (60 years and over): $25 per annual (365-day) pass (some restrictions apply) or $1 per ride with proof of age (valid government issued ID with a date of birth) if required.

All Youth and Senior passes are only available at the Maintenance Service Center (MSC) in Gypsum and Vail Transportation Center in Vail.  In order to obtain a Youth or Senior pass, you must provide the following items at time of pass issuance:

  • The pass holder must be present to take a photo
  • Proof of Age (valid government issued ID with a date of birth)
