Approved by voters in 2002, Eagle County’s Open Space Program is funded by a dedicated 1.5 mill levy tax on property. The Open Space Fund currently collects nearly $4 million per year for the express purpose of supporting activities and costs associated with the acquisition and preservation of open space.
