Eagle County Engineering Department is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform rock fall mitigation in the Town of Red Cliff, Colorado.

Proposals must be received by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or hand delivered to the Eagle County Engineering Department, 500 Broadway, 3rd Floor, Eagle, Colorado 81631 on or before 5 p.m., MDT, May 1, 2019. Any proposal received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County in its sole discretion. Please note that the RFP deadline for proposals was changed from 5 p.m., MDT, Feb. 1, 2019 on Jan. 17, 2019 as indicated in Addendum #1 in the supporting documents below.

Engineering – Request for Proposal for On Call Services for Parking Lot Maintenance.

The Eagle County Engineering Department is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for on-call services to perform parking lot maintenance including seal coat, crack seal, striping, patching, and infrared patching at County owned and maintained parking lots in the Leadville, EagleVail, Edwards, Eagle, Gypsum, and El Jebel areas.

Proposals must be received by U.S. mail to the Eagle County Engineering Department at P.O. Box 850 Eagle, CO 81631; or by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or hand delivered to the Engineering Department at 500 Broadway Eagle, CO 81631; or emailed to julie.pranger@eaglecounty.us on or before 4 p.m., MDT, May 3, 2019. Eagle County Open Space - Request for Engineering Services Related to the Design and Construction of a Trailhead and Bridge at the Brush Creek Valley Ranch and Open Space

Eagle County Open Space is soliciting proposals for engineering services related to the design and construction of a trail head and bridge at the Brush Creek Valley Ranch and Open Space along Brush Creek Road south of the Town of Eagle in Eagle County, Colorado.

The trail head will serve as a primary public access point to Brush Creek Valley Ranch and Open Space and will generally be used by passive recreationists including hikers, cyclists, equestrians and hunters wishing to access trails through the ranch. The trail head will include an unpaved parking area and a single-span prefabricated pedestrian bridge across Brush Creek. 

Proposals must be sent to Diane Mauriello, Eagle County Open Space Manager via email to diane.mauriello@eaglecounty.us or via ground shipping methods only, i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, or via hand delivery to the Eagle County Open Space Department, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado 81631. Do not send proposals by US Mail. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or with an email clearly marked “PROPOSAL FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAIL HEAD AND BRIDGE ON THE BRUSH CREEK VALLEY RANCH AND OPEN SPACE”. Proposals must be received by Noon MST on May 17, 2019. No telephone or facsimile proposals will be accepted.

No proposals will be considered which are received after the date and time set forth above and any proposals received after such date and time shall be returned to the respondent and will not be considered under any circumstances. Sole responsibility rests with the Respondent to ensure that his/her proposal is received on time at the stated location.

MANDATORY MEETING AND PROPERTY VISIT: All Respondents are required to attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and property visit on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at 4381 Brush Creek Road, Eagle, Colorado 81631. Please allow one (1) hour for the meeting. You or a representative from your organization must be in attendance at the meeting. Failure to attend will result in disqualification of a Respondent’s Proposal.

Eagle County Emergency Management - Request for Proposals for On-Call Emergency Services and Supplies

Eagle County is soliciting proposals for the provision of services and supplies that might be needed in emergency situations in northwest Colorado for one year from the date of award. This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) will be non-exclusive. Eagle County reserves the right to purchase supplies or services from multiple parties. 

Eagle County is part of the Northwest All Hazards Emergency Management Region (“NWAHEMR”) which is comprised of Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Jackson, Mesa, Moffat, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt and Summit Counties. Counties other than Eagle County may also be seeking emergency services and supplies. Links to websites which may contain proposal documents for vendors interested in providing services and supplies in other counties are set forth below. Nothing herein shall create an obligation on the part of any county. 

The types of services, supplies, materials and equipment being sought on an on-call emergency basis by Eagle County include, without limitation, food services, lodging, sand bags, potable/bottled water, port-a-potties, engineering services, heavy equipment and such other services and supplies as may be necessary in an emergency. If you have a question about whether the services or supplies you offer are responsive to this RFP, please contact Barry Smith at set forth below. 

Those vendors desiring to provide emergency services and supplies to Eagle County, Colorado should respond to this RFP prior to 5 p.m. on June 30, 2019. Vendors with fully executed agreements in place with Eagle County at the time of an emergency will be contacted to provide their specific services and/or supplies before vendors without an agreement are engaged. 

Participation from small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprise and labor surplus area firms is encouraged.
