Winter 2023-2024  Schedule will be effective from Sunday, December 30, 2023, and will extend to Saturday, May 18, 2024.

ECO will be extending its Winter Schedule until the start of the fare-free service on May 19, 2024.

Great news! Starting May 19, ECO Transit will offer fare-free service on selected routes for the summer season! Highway 6, Minturn, and the Valley route from Eagle to Vail & Dotsero. Please be mindful when purchasing passes close to the fare-free period start date, as refunds won't be available for any type of passes, including youth & senior passes.

Important: For those traveling to or from Gypsum and Leadville, please note that fares will still be required on any trips involving Gypsum and Leadville stops.

Bus Schedules
Valley - commuter service between Gypsum/Eagle (EGE) and Vail via l-70
The Valley route provides both local service between Dotsero, Gypsum, Eagle as well as commuter service along I-70 to Edwards, Avon and Vail. This route also provides service to the Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE).

WINTER 23-24
Schedule (beginning December 30)



On Sunday, April 14, the Valley East route will have a small change. This Schedule will extend until Saturday, May 18. 


Fares (Free-Fares Start on May 19th with a few exceptions*)
  • Per ride*, $3
  • 1-day unlimited pass*, $6
  • 30-day unlimited pass, $63
Mobile Fares and cash are accepted on the bus. If you do not have exact change, the fare box will issue you a "Change Card" to be used on future rides or passes. Change Cards expire in one year and can not be exchanged for cash. View the fare page for additional information including youth passes and senior passes.

Highway 6 - local service between Edwards and Vail via Highway 6
This route provides local service along Highway 6 between Edwards and Vail with stops in Arrowhead, Avon, and EagleVail. The route also stops at the Freedom Park Park and Ride, Avon Station, and the Forest Service Park and Ride.

Leadville - limited service between Leadville and Vail via US 24
This route provides limited morning and evening services along US 24 between Vail and Leadville with a transfer stop at the Forest Service Park and Ride for Highway 6 and Minturn Routes. The Leadville Route is a *Premium Fare Route

Minturn - service between Minturn and Vail
This route provides limited morning and evening services along US 24 between Vail and Leadville with a transfer stop at the Forest Service Park and Ride for Highway 6 and Minturn Routes.

Vail-Beaver Creek Express - service between Vail, Avon and Beaver Creek during peak times
This route provides limited morning and evening services between Lionshead, Vail Transportation Center, Avon Station, and Beaver Creek Village.

4 Schedule (December 30 - April 13)

On Sunday, April 14, since it is the last day of Beaver Creek Mountain operations, this route will go up to Beaver Creek Village at times marked for the Elk Lot stop on the schedule below:

Starting Monday, April 15, the Vail/Beaver Creek Express route will undergo a minor change. Instead of traveling up to Beaver Creek Village, it will now stop at the Elk lot at the base of the mountain. This adjusted schedule will continue through Saturday, May 18.


The Vail-Beaver Creek Express Route is FARE FREE during the Winter 2023-2024 schedule.
