The Eagle County Early Head Start program offers different service options within Eagle County, all of which include Home Visits. Families receive parenting information, enrichment activities, developmental screenings, parent support and linkages to community resources. Some of our program options also include child care services at our contracted facilities. Services available vary depending on location.
Program service options are:
- Home-based program option – Families with children under the age of three receive weekly home visits by trained Early Head Start staff and join group socials twice a month.
- Pregnant Women program option - Pregnant women and their families receive 2 home visits a month during their pregnancy. Once their baby is born, the child moves into the home-based program.
- Center-based program option - Children attend a licensed child care facility and receive home visits two times per year.
Note: If you have a child that is between the ages of three and five, please contact the Head Start program through Eagle County School District at 970-328-3942 or visit their website for more information.
