Eagle County’s Office of 800 MHz Radio Communications is responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of the two-way radio infrastructure across our county. Eagle County public safety agencies rely on the statewide Digital Trunked Radio System (DTRS) to ensure effective emergency communication for our first responders. Eagle County is a partner in the DTRS and works collaboratively with other infrastructure owners to ensure the system’s continued effectiveness. This office is funded and advised by the local public safety agencies that use the radio network for their day-to-day operations.
