UOCAVA Voter Information
Eligibility
Eligibility for uniformed and overseas voters is based on the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA). Visit https://www.fvap.gov/colorado for Colorado eligibility information.
Register to Vote or Make Changes to Your Overseas/Military (UOCAVA) Voter Registration

If you have a Colorado Driver's License or Colorado Identification Card, visit GoVoteColorado.gov to register to vote or update your voter registration with military or overseas voter options.

Print and complete the Federal Post Card Application and return it by email, fax, mail or in person to the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder’s office.
Special Handling of Ballots for Military and Overseas (UOCAVA) Voters

Ballots are issued 45 days prior to an election. In 2023, ballots will be issued to UOCAVA voters on September 23 for the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election. 


Ballots may be emailed, mailed, or faxed (depending on the ballot receipt method selected when registering) to active duty military and dependents, and overseas voters.
