Eagle County services restricting in person interactions


In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, Eagle County government will be providing services via phone and/or online services and restricting in person interactions until April 8, 2020, when these precautions will be reevaluated. The Clerk & Recorder’s Office provides motor vehicle titling and registration, document recording, election coordination, voter registration, liquor license assistance, and the issuing of marriage licenses to the citizens of Eagle County.

Recording Guidelines
Research public records such as deeds, mining claims, mortgages and marriage licenses. 

Motor Vehicles 
If you have lived in Eagle County for 90 days you must register your vehicle in one of the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder's offices. Find information about the requirements for registering and/or titling your vehicle.

Voting & Elections
Information on voter registration, elections and election calendars. 

Marriage Licenses
Marriage licenses can be obtained from any Clerk and Recorders office and used anywhere in the State of Colorado. 

Liquor Licenses
Information on liquor licenses for unincorporated areas of the county. For information on liquor licenses within a municipality contact the municipality directly.
