The Dry Lake Motocross Park is the only large, public use motocross park between Denver and Grand Junction along the I70 corridor. The 274 acre parcel is owned by the Town of Gypsum and was purchased with support from the Open Space fund. Over 100 of those acres are held in a conservation easement by Eagle County Open Space. The purchase and operation of the Dry Lake Motocross Park would not have been possible without support from the Town of Gypsum, the Rocky Mountain Sport Riders, Colorado Parks and Wildlife OHV program, and countless volunteer hours from local riders.
