ECO Transit service impacts during Colorado Classic

Aug. 15, 2018 – ECO Transit will be experiencing service impacts on Thursday, Aug. 16 during the 2018 Colorado Classic event. The following stops across all ECO Transit routes will be unavailable from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 16 during the event:

  • S. Frontage Road/Chamonix (W. Vail Conoco)
  • S. Frontage Road/Donovan Park
  • S. Frontage Road/Cascade Village (Hotel Talisa)
  • S. Frontage Road/Lionshead
  • S. Frontage Road/Vail Road

Those needing to travel to Lionshead or West Vail via public transportation during the Colorado Classic will need to transfer from an ECO Transit Bus to a Vail Transit Bus. ECO Transit will also offer free express service from the park ‘n ride at Freedom Park to the Vail Transportation Center every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16. Passengers are reminded that bikes are not allowed inside ECO buses. Bike racks are available on a first-come, first-served basis and with two bike spaces available per bus.
