Theft at the Hi Way 6 Store in Gypsum

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) needs your help locating two people that stole a wallet from an employee’s purse at the HI-WAY 6 store on May 3, 2010 at approximately 11:28am. 

The suspects were captured on surveillance video, however the theft was not discovered and reported to the ECSO until several hours had already passed.  While Suspect 1 distracted the employee at the register Suspect 2 walked in the rear “Employees Office” and stole a wallet containing miscellaneous items. 

Suspect 1 is described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 40’s, approximately 5’04”, approximately 160 pounds.  At the time of the theft suspect 1 was wearing a blue long sleeve t-shirt and blue jeans. 

Suspect 2 is described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 20’s, approximately 5’10”, heavy-set, clean shaven, with short black hair.  At the time of the theft suspect 2 was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black banded wrist watch with a round face on his left wrist. 

The suspect vehicle is described as being a 1990’s style white Box-Cargo Truck with a 15 foot enclosed box.
