Party turns into a brawl at CDOT employee housing

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office was called to a fight in progress with weapons and alcohol at the CDOT employee housing on US HWY 6 near Wolcott, Colorado on Saturday July 24, 2010 at approximately 5:15 a.m. 

David Buie, age 22, of Gypsum was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon and probation violation.  Billie Jo Keller, age 20, of Avon was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Assault with Serious Bodily Injury, Disorderly Conduct, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, and probation violation.  Dustin Henderson, age 20, of Eagle was arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Assault, Menacing, Disorderly Conduct, Minor in Possession, Probation Violation, and on a warrant for Failure to Comply out of Ft. Collins.  J.D.Bonsal, age 21, of Gypsum was arrested and charged with Accessory to a Crime and Driving under Restraint.  Two female juveniles will be charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol, one will also be charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor for supplying alcohol to underage persons at the party. 

Buie allegedly tried to make sexual advances towards an intoxicated female passed out at the residence; the fight erupted after Keller caught him with the female.   Two males were treated and released at the Vail Valley Medical Center for injuries received during the fight.   A knife and metal flashlight were collected as evidence.   A handgun was allegedly brandished during the incident, but it was not located. 

The owners of the residence were on vacation at the time of the incident and will come home to holes in the walls, furniture broken, and blood splattered all over the front entry-way and deck. 

Buie and Keller are currently being held at the Eagle County Detention Facility on a $7,500 bond.  Henderson and Bonsal are currently being held at the Eagle County Detention Facility on a $2,500 bond.
