Cocaine Arrest

doormatCharles Guadalupe

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) arrested Charles Guadalupe (age 45 from Vail, CO) for two counts of Distribution of Cocaine (a class 3 felony) and two counts of Possession of Cocaine (a class 4 felony).  He is being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.

A concerned citizen provided information about Guadalupe’s drug distribution operations.  Guadalupe then sold $500 worth of cocaine to undercover operators of the ECSO.  Guadalupe was arrested at his residence on March 3, 2010.  The Avon and Vail Police Departments assisted with this investigation.

When Detectives went to Guadalupe’s home on Davos Trail in Vail they observed a mat outside the door with the words ‘COME BACK WITH A WARRANT’.  “So we did” stated ECSO Lt. Mike McWilliam.  Drug distribution items were located in Guadalupe’s bedroom during the execution of the search warrant.
