2014 National Night Out

Contact; Jessie Mosher, Public Information Officer,

July 30, 2014 - On August 5 this year law enforcement agencies all across our valley will take part in the 31st Annual National Night Out. National Night Out is a night for law enforcement and citizens to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and strengthen community partnerships. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight for a safer nation. On August 5, we invite neighborhoods nationwide to join us and “give crime a going away party.” There will be free food, games, rock walls, contests, friendly officers doing demonstrations and even a raffle in Avon. However, it’s not a party without you! Please stop by your local department’s hosted location (listed below) and get to know your local law enforcement. Feel free to contact your agency’s representative below with any questions or if you wish to volunteer.
