The Eagle County Board of Commissioners will continue its multi-part hearing process to review the sketch plan application for the Eagle River Meadows Planned Unit Development (PUD) proposal next week. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Eagle County Room, located at 500 Broadway in Eagle. Topics will include potential development options and affordable housing options, as well as suggested conditions of approval. All interested community members are encouraged to attend.

The proposed development is located on the former B&B gravel mine site, just west of the Eagle River Preserve in Edwards. The 105-acre proposal includes 380 free market and deed restricted housing units, as well as approximately 261,000 square feet of medical, wellness, office and related commercial uses. In addition, the proposal includes preservation of 68 acres of open space, new public trails and public fishing access.
