Eagle County is pleased to announce that Jill Klosterman has accepted the position of Director of Housing and Kelley Collier has assumed the role of Director of ECO Transit and Trails. In addition, the county is welcoming Gary Hadden as the new Assistant Director of Public Health. Klosterman officially began her new position on Dec. 13, following the resignation of former Housing Director Alex Potente. Collier was also appointed to director on Dec. 13 after holding the interim position for three months. Hadden will join the county on Jan. 3.

Klosterman has served as the assistant director of housing since June 2008. Prior to her employment at Eagle County, she was a commercial loan officer at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. She holds a master’s degree in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin. In her new role, Klosterman will be responsible for managing the county’s housing programs, including completing the rehabilitation of Riverview Apartments and facilitating the development of a continuum of care retirement community.

Collier has been the interim director for ECO Transit since September, before which she was the assistant director. Collier has been with ECO since 1999 and holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and math from Guilford College. She will continue to manage regional transportation in Eagle County as well as revising the long range mass transit plan, including the structure, financing and vision for future regional bus service.

Hadden comes to Eagle County from Colorado Springs, where he recently retired from the U.S. Air Force as a senior master sergeant. He holds an associate degree in environmental medicine technology from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), a bachelor’s degree in education from Southern Illinois University and a master's in public health from Tulane University. As assistant public health director, Hadden will provide oversight to the Disease Control and Prevention, Maternal and Child Health and Healthy Communities programs.

“We’re very excited to have professionals of this caliber assume these important roles within our organization,” said County Manager Keith Montag. “The experience and background that Jill, Kelley and Gary bring will be a terrific complement to our management team.”
