CSU Extension to offer a free financial guidance series

Feb. 22, 2016 – Community members with an interest in taking charge of their financial futures are encouraged to attend the Money Talk: A Financial Guide series. The program will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays from March 1 - 29 at the Eagle Public Library, 600 Broadway Street in Eagle. 

The sessions include information on financial terminology and exercises to personalize   and improve participants’ financial well-being. The five topic areas include financial basics, insurance, investing, investing for retirement and financial planning.

In addition, a guest speaker from a community organization will be in attendance at each session. The schedule is as follows:

The series is free and includes a guidebook, Money Talk: A Financial Guide for Women, 2009, developed by Patricia Q. Brennan and Barbara M. O’Neill, Rutgers Cooperative Extension.
