The Public Trustee's Office provides services relating to real estate foreclosures and releases of deeds of trust. We are committed to continually enhancing services and providing prompt and accurate information while adhering to the guidelines established by state law.

Notice of Intent to Cure  

*Intent to Cure must be received in the Public Trustee's office 15 at least calendar days before the scheduled sale date. Certified funds to cure the property must be received by noon one day prior to the sale.

Notice of Intent to Redeem  

*An Intent to Redeem must be filed in the Public Trustee's office within eight business after the sale. The junior lien holder redemption period begins 15 business days after the sale date. 

Bidder Registration 

*Anyone wishing to bid at a foreclosure sale must be registered, with certified funds in the amount of their bid, by 9:45 a.m. the day of the sale. Please read the Eagle County bidding policy before registering to bid.
