Eagle County Road & Bridge - Invitation to Bid for the Eagle County 2018 Crack Fill Project.

Eagle County Government is requesting bids for the Eagle County 2018 Crack Fill Project. This project generally includes crack fill of identified roads in Eagle-Vail, West Vail, Eagle Valley Trail-Eagle-Vail, Eagle Valley Trail-Edwards and Chambers Park and Ride-Eagle, Colorado. Bid documents, including a list of roads that are included in the Eagle County 2018 Crack Fill Project, as well as plans and specifications, if any, may be obtained from the Eagle County below:

Note:  BID ENVELOPE MUST BE SEALED AND MARKED “Eagle County 2018 Crack Fill Project”. The outside of the bid envelope must also contain the name and address of the bidder and shall be accompanied by the required bid security. No telephone, email or facsimile bids will be accepted. All documents submitted with the bid shall be clearly marked with the bidder’s name.                                      

The closing date for receiving bids is Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. (MST) in the office of the Eagle County Road & Bridge Department. At such time, all bids will be opened and read aloud in the Road & Bridge office at the physical address identified above. Road & Bridge will review all bids prior to a formal presentation to the Board of County Commissioners.

No bids will be considered which are received after the date and time set forth above and any bids received after such date and time shall be returned to the bidder and will not be considered under any circumstances. Sole responsibility rests with the bidder to ensure that their bid is received on time at the stated location.

The Successful Bidder, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders, will be required to furnish certification of specific insurance requirements in accordance with the agreement to be awarded prior to the commencement of any work.

The Eagle County 2018 Crack Fill Project will be awarded as a single project.

The agreement will be awarded to the lowest, qualified, responsible bidder(s) to whom Eagle County, on the basis of its evaluation as set forth in the bid documents, makes an award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Eagle County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or technicality in any bid, to negotiate contract terms with a bidder, to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids and to postpone the award of the project agreement for a period not exceeding thirty-one (31) days after the bid opening.

Eagle County Government is requesting bids for the Eagle County 2018 Overlay Project. This Project generally includes an asphalt overlay to roads in the Singletree area of Edwards, Colorado (“Project 1”) and (“Project 2”) all in unincorporated Eagle County:

Project Management- Request for Qualifications for Construction Services for Eagle Ranch Lot 3 Apartments, Eagle, Colorado

Eagle County Housing and Development Authority is soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from Construction Manager/General Contractors for construction services for the construction of the new Eagle Ranch Lot 3 Apartments, Filing 29, located in Eagle, Colorado.

Eagle County Solid Waste & Recycling - Request for Proposals for Transporting and Recycling Waste Tire

Eagle County is soliciting proposals for the provision of professional services to transport and recycle waste tires collected at the Eagle County Waste Tire Collection Facility located at the Eagle County Landfill in Wolcott, Colorado. This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) will be non-exclusive. Eagle County reserves the right to purchase supplies or services from other third parties.

Proposals must be received by U.S. mail to the Solid Waste and Recycling Department at P.O. Box 473, Wolcott, CO 81655 or by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or hand delivered to the Solid Waste and Recycling Department at 815 Ute Creek Road, Wolcott, CO 81655, or emailed to landfill@eaglecounty.us on or before 4 p.m., MDT, May 11, 2018. Any proposal received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County in its sole discretion.

Request for Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal for Construction Services for the Eagle County Main Administrative Building Office Remodel

Eagle County is soliciting GMP Proposals for construction services for the interior remodeling of existing office space known as the Eagle County Treasurer’s Office Remodel, located at 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado. Construction services to be provided include, but are not limited to, demolition, framing, drywall, interior finishes, millwork, mechanical and electrical systems as per the Construction Drawings. A mandatory pre-bid meeting for all Proposers  will take place on May 3, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., local time at the Eagle County Treasures Office, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado.

GMP Proposals for the Project must be sent to Kristin Degenhardt, Project Manager, via U.S. mail addressed to the Eagle County Project Management Department, ATTN: Kristin Degenhardt, Project Manager, P.O. Eagle County Emergency Management - Request for Proposals for On-Call Emergency Services and Supplies

Eagle County is soliciting proposals for the provision of services and supplies that might be needed in emergency situations in northwest Colorado for one year from the date of award. This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) will be non-exclusive. Eagle County reserves the right to purchase supplies or services from multiple parties. 

Eagle County is part of the Northwest All Hazards Emergency Management Region (“NWAHEMR”) which is comprised of Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Jackson, Mesa, Moffat, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt and Summit Counties. Counties other than Eagle County may also be seeking emergency services and supplies. Links to websites which may contain proposal documents for vendors interested in providing services and supplies in other counties are set forth below. Nothing herein shall create an obligation on the part of any county. 

The types of services, supplies, materials and equipment being sought on an on-call emergency basis by Eagle County include, without limitation, food services, lodging, sand bags, potable/bottled water, port-a-potties, engineering services, heavy equipment and such other services and supplies as may be necessary in an emergency. If you have a question about whether the services or supplies you offer are responsive to this RFP please contact Barry Smith at set forth below. 

Those vendors desiring to provide emergency services and supplies to Eagle County, Colorado should respond to this RFP prior to 5 p.m. on June 30, 2018. Vendors with fully executed agreements in place with Eagle County at the time of an emergency will be contacted to provide their specific services and/or supplies before Vendors without an agreement are engaged. 

Participation from small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprise and labor surplus area firms is encouraged.
