The Golden Eagle Apartments were purchased by Eagle County in 2003. The development consists of 36 one-bedroom apartments and are designated for senior citizens and disabled persons.
Seniors on Broadway 970-328-8897
The Seniors on Broadway low income rental apartments are income and age restricted under federal law: Section 42 of the IRS code. Applicants must be 62 years or older to reside in these apartments. Income restrictions and rental rates, by county, are published annually by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority.

72 total units. Eagle County's only Section 8 complex is located on the Eagle River in Eagle-Vail. Rental rates are dependent on income and are subsidized. There is a waiting list for occupancy.
Lake Creek Village 970-328-3790
The affordable apartment community you'll love calling home offers one, two and three bedroom units on 28 beautifully landscaped acres. They are located off Highway 6, one mile west of Edwards Exit at I-70. 270 total units. Monthly rate cannot exceed 40 percent of monthly salary and monthly salary can't exceed 5 times monthly rent each person.

The climate in down-valley Eagle is milder than its up-valley counterparts and is sometimes referred to as the banana belt. Rents correspond to tenants earning 45 percent, 50 percent and 60 percent AMI.

Located in Avon on the Eagle River on Highway 6. Eaglebend is popular because of its proximity to Beaver Creek Ski Resort, City Market, Wal-Mart, Chapel Square, and the Avon Recreation Center. Restricted rental rates.

60 total units. Located just off Highway 6 in Gypsum. Rents correspond to tenants earning 60 percent AMI. One of the valley's least expensive apartment complexes, just a short distance west of Eagle. It also enjoys a warmer climate, has bus service, and is in close proximity to schools and the Columbine Market.
