The Eagle County Volunteer Center is excited to announce some new changes in volunteering in Eagle County.

Effective December 1, 2010, the Vail Valley Partnership (VVP) will begin management of the Eagle County Volunteer Center in the Eagle River Valley.

VVP plans to expand the Volunteer Center and as the Volunteer Connection through VVP’s non-profit network.  The Vail Valley Partnership Volunteer Connection will promote non-profit organizations, government agencies, schools and local businesses by promoting their mission and recruiting volunteers through the VVP current marketing channels. The Rural Resort Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for volunteers 55 and older will continue to be managed through Eagle County and can support organizations both within the Eagle River Valley and Roaring Fork Valley with recruiting and engaging volunteers.
