Please Note: Prior to January 1984, the grantor, grantee and legal fields are not indexed and have no searchable information at this time. This office is in the process of indexing these documents.
Welcome! We are excited to offer the public records online for your convenience. The public records contain primarily those documents recorded relating to real estate. Learn more about recording fees and other recording requirements at the Clerk & Recorder’s website.
You will be able to search any of the fields on the screen. Our records are best searched by name. The Grantor of a Deed is the Seller and the Grantee is the Buyer. In the case of a Deed of Trust or Mortgage the Grantor is the Borrower and the Grantee is the Lender. In most cases the person signing the document would be the grantor and the other party named would be the grantee. The best way to search so you do not miss anything is to search the name by Grantor and Grantee.
At the present time, documents may be viewed in our office at 500 Broadway, in Eagle, Colorado. Our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. At our satellite offices in Avon and El Jebel you may view documents beginning with July 1987.
