The Eagle Valley Trail just west of Avon Road and Bob the Bridge will be temporary closed on Monday and Tuesday next week by Avon Public Works to allow crews to perform maintenance on a storm sewer in the area. The maintenance work will impact the section of trail behind the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa.

Trail users should keep out of the closed area, as heavy equipment will be used to clean the storm sewers. Pedestrian and bike traffic will be detoured along Riverfront Lane from Bob the Bridge to the west side of the Westin complex. The detour is expected to be all of Monday and Tuesday.
