Plastic/Glass/Metal Containers
Include:
All colors of glass beverage containers and jars
Empty aluminum cans
Steel/tin cans, tin ends to frozen juice concentrate
Rinsed, empty plastic containers that are #1 PET through #7 plastic
Labels accepted
Do not include:
Plastic bags, toys, six-pack holders
Motor oil or gasoline containers unless completely clean & dry
Lids or caps
Window glass, Pyrex, ceramics, porcelain, drinking glasses, crystal or light bulbs
Cardboard
Include:
Clean, flattened, corrugated cardboard boxes
Brown paper bags
Staples/labels accepted
Always flatten boxes
Do not include:
Pasteboard such as cereal boxes or six pack holders
Egg cartons or milk cartons
Waxy cardboard
Any styrofoam, plastic, or wood packing material
Cardboard contaminated by food or grease, such as pizza boxes
Newspapers & Phone Books
Include:
Complete newspapers with inserts and coupons
Newspaper grade packing paper
Newspaper grade catalogs/magazines
Phone books
Do not include:
Plastic bags
Office paper
Plastic binding straps
Glossy magazines/catalogs
Office Paper, Magazines (Vail & Avon sites only)
Include:
All non-fluorescent office paper, copy paper, fax paper, printer paper
Plain, windowed and large manila envelopes
Post-it notes
Manila folders
Non-laminated greeting cards, note cards
Staples/paper clips are accepted
Any glossy-finish magazine, catalog or brochure
Do not include:
Fluorescent paper
Hardbound books (remove cover)
Plastic bags
Tyvek envelopes
Tissue paper
Carbon receipts
Packaging
Wrapping paper
