Eagle County’s Immunization Program decreases preventable illnesses by providing and promoting vaccines for children, adults and travelers. Immunizations are offered at all three public health locations by appointment only. Please call for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Children's Vaccines
The Vaccines for Children Program provides vaccines to eligible children 18 years of age and under in accordance with pediatric immunization recommendations. Fees for childhood immunizations are $14 per vaccination. No child is denied access to immunizations due to inability to pay a fee. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to give consent. Contact any Eagle County Public Health office to schedule an appointment. Please bring the child's current immunization record.

Vaccinations are not just for children. There are vaccines and boosters needed at different ages and for different circumstances to keep adults healthy. Some adults may be more at risk for certain diseases due to age, chronic illness or occupation. Adult immunizations are offered by appointment at all three public health locations. Cost varies by vaccine.

Travel Immunizations
Whether you are traveling within the United States or to other counties, you may be exposed you to infectious viruses and bacteria. If you are not protected by up-to-date vaccinations, you are at higher risk of contracting serious diseases. Eagle County Public Health offers travel assessments and immunizations to prevent travel-related illnesses. Please contact the Avon location at 970-328-9813 to schedule an appointment.
