Commissioners to continue review of Tree Farm PUD

April 6, 2017 – The Eagle County Board of Commissioners will continue review of the Tree Farm Planned Unit Development (PUD) preliminary plan on April 11.  The public hearing will start at 5 p.m. at the El Jebel Community Center, 0020 Eagle County Drive. 
 
Tuesday’s meeting is scheduled to include an overview and discussion on the housing plan; real estate transfer assessment; child care; development phasing; and mobility, transit and traffic. The hearing will also include ample time for public comment.

The Tree Farm PUD encompasses 43 acres, located on the Lane Property on the north side of U.S. Highway 82 across from Willits Town Center. As proposed, the development would be comprised of up to 340 residential units including affordable housing; a maximum of 134,558 square feet of commercial, office, lodging, and/or light industrial space; and 22 acres of active and passive open space.

A third meeting on the Tree Farm PUD, originally scheduled for April 25, is now anticipated to take place on April 24. The Eagle County Board of Commissioners requested the change to avoid a conflict with the regularly scheduled meeting of the Basalt Town Council.
