A final draft for the inaugural Dotsero Area Community Plan has recently been completed by the Eagle County Community Development Department, and is now available for public review. As part of the adoption process for this new sub-area plan, a 30 day referral period will commence on Tuesday April 3, concluding on Thursday, May 3. The referral period is provided to allow all landowners, business owners or other interested parties to study the final draft and submit comments regarding its content. Comments regarding the proposed plan should be directed to Cliff Simonton at 970-328-8751 or submitted via email to Cliff at
clifford.simonton@eagelcounty.us. Following the referral period, county staff will work with the Eagle County Planning Commission to schedule a series of official public adoption hearings, at which all comments received will be presented for consideration by the Commission. Those hearings will be noticed in local papers, and will be held on Wednesday afternoon at the normally scheduled time for Planning Commission hearings.
