Overlooking the Eagle River in Avon, Riverview Apartments is Eagle County’s only Section 8 housing complex. The facility offers 73 spacious two bedroom/one bath and three bedroom/two bath units. The facility is located on a major county bus route, making workforce commutes very affordable for tenants. Laundry facilities, a community room and BBQ areas are available onsite.

Subsidized under the HUD Section 8 program, tenants’ rental rates are based on 30 percent of a household’s annual income. Applicants must not exceed the annual income limit established by HUD at application. Applicants must meet certain admissions standards, which include criminal background checks and credit and eviction checks both upon application and prior to tenancy.   

All buildings are now complete and all tenants have moved back in to the property.
The office and community room are complete and open.  The office is now open during normal business hours.
Driveway, parking lot, and walkways are being completed.
Landscaping has begun.
The future Highway 6 ECO Trail is being prepared for full construction once funds become available for its completion.
