Entry Times:
All nonperishable exhibits must be entered between noon and 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Eagle River Center.
All perishable exhibits must be entered between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Eagle River Center.
Foods requiring refrigeration will not be accepted.
All Open Class Age Divisions:
Children: 2 -7 years (participation ribbons only)
Youth: 8 - 10 years 11 - 13 years 14 - 17 years
Adult: 18 years or older
Professional is defined as any individual whose earnings from the practice of a skill, craft or art exceeds $500 per year.
Judging and Awards:
Judging begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
The awards for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion are rosette ribbons.
The Class Champion, Reserve Class Champion, Blue, Red and White Awards are all ribbons.
Ribbons will be limited to Eagle County residents and all products shown must be the exhibitor’s own work.
No article shall bear a price tag while on exhibit - a business card may be displayed.
Articles exhibited in prior fairs are not eligible for competition.

Exhibitors may enter as many classes within a department as they wish but there can only be one entry per class per person; except where noted. Any three entrants in a miscellaneous class may create a class of their own.
Exhibits must remain in place until 8 a.m., Sunday, July 31, 2011. Checkout is from 8 a.m. to noon. All exhibits checked out earlier will forfeit all ribbons. Exhibitors must check out articles with the Building Superintendent. Exhibits not picked up will be donated to charity. Exhibitors will forfeit ribbons and exhibits if the exhibit is not retrieved on Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Open Class Divisions:
- Food Preservation Division includes canned fruits, canned vegetables, general canned foods, wine, jellies/jams/preserves, pickles and spiced products, and dried foods
- Baked Goods Division includes breads, cookies, cakes, candies, pies and baked goods not included in other divisions, good for your health
- Horticulture Divisions include flowers and potted plants
- Garden Division includes vegetables and crops
- Arts and Crafts Division includes clothing, crochet, knitting, quilts, needlework, fiber arts, hobbies and crafts, recycled arts, holiday section, photography, art, children's arts and crafts
Open Gymkhana: Tuesday, July 26 in the large outdoor arena at the Fairgrounds. Entries open at 5 p.m., Gymkhana beginning at 6 p.m. Cost is $10 for all events: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Flag Race and Keyhole. Age Divisions: Peewee (7 and under), Junior (8-10), Intermediate (11-13), Senior (14-18), Adult (19 and over).
