Directions, Parking and Maps

General
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the grounds during this event.

Parking areas may change year to year during the construction on the Town of Eagle River Park.

Driving Directions to the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo  

From Vail or Denver

  • Take I-70 West
  • Take the Eagle exit (#147)
  • Left on Eby Creek Road
  • Right on Chambers Road (just past Loaf & Jug), road turns into Fairgrounds Road 
  • Fairgrounds are located on the left hand side
  • Complimentary parking is located on the far west side of the Fairgrounds

From Glenwood Springs or Grand Junction

  • Take I-70 East
  • Take the Eagle exit (#147)
  • Right on Eby Creek Road

Flying to and from the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo
Eagle County is home to the Eagle County Regional Airport with non-stop service from Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston throughout the summer. The airport is less than 6 miles from the Eagle County Fairgrounds. 

Transportation while visiting the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo
ECO Transit provides public transportation choices 7 days per week, 365 days per year. One-way fares start at $4 and full day passes from $8.

Parking

Public  Public parking for general attendees of the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo is located just west of the Eagle River Center, which houses the Fair's Open Class Exhibits and Junior Livestock Auction. Guests may walk the path past the carnival to access the rodeo arena and vendor areas.  
Public parking area will be indicated with TEAL signage. 

ADA/Accessible parking For persons with disabilities who possess a disabled parking permit, there are a parking section next to the Fair Office on the east side of the Warm Up Arena.  
ADA parking area will be indicated with DARK BLUE signage. 

VIP & Volunteer VIP parking for select sponsors and Emeritus Advisory Council members is available just inside the east entrance to the fairgrounds. Volunteer parking in this lot is first come, first served. Once the lot is full, volunteers will be required to park in the public parking area at the west end of the fairgrounds.
VIP & Volunteer parking area will be indicated with PURPLE signage. 

4-H  Parking for members of 4-H is located on the east side of the Eagle River Center. 
4-H parking area will be indicated with GREEN signage. 

Freedom Riders  Parking designated for the Freedom Riders is the easternmost parking lot when approaching the fairgrounds. 
Freedom Riders parking area will be indicated with DARK BLUE signage. 

Contestant Parking designated for Contestants at the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo is located on the west end of the fairgrounds, down toward the river. This is also the area for Vendor Camping.
Contestant parking area will be indicated with YELLOW signage. 

Short-term contestant Short-term contestant parking is located just west of the easternmost entrance to the fairgrounds. Please visit Contestant Information to find out more about short-term contestant parking.  
Contestant parking area will be indicated with ORANGE signage.

Please note that parking for the 2018 Fair & Rodeo may change going forward as construction on the neighboring Eagle River Park progresses.
