Carnival runs July 25 through July 28

The Great Northern A'Fair Carnival will be coming to the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo to provide entertainment and amusements for the entire family. Built on integrity and known for excellent safety records, the company thoroughly inspects every ride in every show and puts considerable time into training staff. Offering a variety of rides and food concessions, The Great Northern Carnival strives to maintain the best possible family experience. This year's carnival will feature the Majestic Ferris Wheel, Space Shuttle, Ripsaw, Thea's Zoo, Flying Pink Elephants, Caramel Apples, Cotton Candy, Games and more.  

Please note that no dogs are allowed on the grounds.

Carnival opens:
Wednesday, July 25      3 p.m.
Thursday, July 26          3 p.m.
Friday, July 27               3 p.m.
Saturday, July 28          12 p.m.

$30 On-Site Unlimited Ride Wristband

Offers unlimited rides for any one person any one day of the event. It is not transferable. Tickets are redeemed at the Carnival Ticket Booth for the wristband of the day.

Carve Wars

Carve Wars showcases the excitement and wonder of this unique artistry. This family-friendly free event will take place East of the Grandstands. 

Renowned chainsaw artists will compete for prizes and awards while performing visually stimulating live shows and creating masterpieces that the whole family will enjoy!

Each artist will design one main competition carving (with the public voting on the winner) and two quick carvings.  The event also features meet-and-greet opportunities with artists and live demonstrations.

The Carve Wars event culminates with two exciting live auctions on Friday and Saturday, where the carvings are sold to the highest bidder.  All artists will also have various-sized pieces on display and for sale. Artwork includes everything from gorgeous renditions of natural wildlife to custom home décor pieces.
