4-H Livestock Showmanship
Livestock showmanship is one of the cornerstones of the 4-H Program. 4-Hers are judged on training, grooming and show-ring performance. Exhibitors show their own animals of each species in the showmanship class. Judges determine winners by the showing, appearance of the animals, and appearance, courtesy and knowledge of the exhibitor. The 4-H Program is open to youth from 5 to18 years of age. The first place winner in each showmanship class will be eligible to receive a County Fair Grand Champion Award.
