Eagle County does not have laboratory facilities to test residential well water. Private well owners are responsible for the quality and safety of their own well water. We recommend private well owners have their water tested for bacteria annually. A list of state-certified laboratories for testing is provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
