Vehicle Registration Renewal
2009 legislation requires motor vehicle owners to renew their vehicle registrations by the end of the expiration month, however, there is a renewal grace period of one month.
Courtesy renewal forms are mailed out approximately two weeks before the month of expiration.
If you do not receive your renewal card, it is still your responsibility to register your vehicle in a timely manner.
There will be a late fee of $25 per month, up to a total $100 per vehicle if your vehicle is renewed after the 30-day grace period.
- Use the blue mailing label on the postcard to mail your check or money order and postcard to the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder.
