4-H Scholarships
Eagle County High School Juniors and Seniors are eligible to apply for the following 4-H scholarships. Applicants for these scholarships must have completed at least three years in the 4-H Program, including the year prior to the year in which they apply for the scholarship, by exhibiting at the Eagle County Fair and meeting all other project requirements for completion. They must also be currently enrolled in 4-H. 

Scholarship applications will be mailed to eligible youth March 15. They are due back to the Extension Office Monday, April 30 with interviews scheduled for Thursday, May 17 at the Road and Bridge Conference Room.

Eagle County 4-H Scholarship
The Eagle County Fair Board offers two $1,500 scholarships each year to deserving Eagle County 4-H members.

Sam Kuntz Memorial Scholarship
Mr. Joe Kuntz of Greeley offers this $1,500 4-H Scholarship in memory of his late father and past Eagle County Extension Agent, Sam Kuntz.

Greg Burton Memorial Scholarship
The Greg Burton Memorial Scholarship has been established by the Eagle County Fair Board in honor of the spirit of the youth who are dedicated and involved with High School rodeo or equestrian events.

Greg lived and worked in the spirit of High School Rodeo and the Eagle County Fair Board has honored that spirit by setting up this $1,500 scholarship on his behalf for Eagle County youth that aspire to continue their involvement in an equine sport at a college level.

This scholarship is open to youth who have competed in the Colorado High School Rodeo Association, Little Britches Rodeo Association, Junior Rodeo Competition or have been involved with competitive equestrian events at the high school level.
