Address Confidentiality

HB15-1174 extends the protections related to confidentiality of personal information on the internet that are currently in place for law enforcement officials and their immediate family to participants in the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking (participants). Please note: the state's ACP program is for victims of crime only. You will need to have an ACP card prior to filling out the form below. For more information, please visit www.colorado.gov/pacific/dcs/acp-faq. If you are a law enforcement official wanting to protect your personal information online, please see the Law Enforcement Officials page.

If you are currently a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking (participants), who owns property in Eagle County, and would like your information removed from Eagle County's website (e.g. Assessor, Treasurer and GIS records), please complete the request form. Once submitted, your information will be removed from Eagle County's website.

Additionally, certain recorded documents available through the Clerk & Recorder's home page may contain sensitive information that you may also want removed.  The Clerk & Recorder requires the requesting party to identify all reception numbers for the specific documents to be removed from public access and accepts no responsibility for and will not be held liable for errors or omissions.  We ask that you search for these documents and provide the reception number for each on the request form.  Only those documents identified will be removed, and you must notify us each time a new document is recorded.  To search for these documents, visit the Clerk & Recorder's page.  If you have questions regarding your search, email the Eagle County Recording office at recording@eaglecounty.us or call 970-328-8723.
