The responsibility of the Assessor's Office is to discover, identify, classify and value all taxable real and personal property in Eagle County according to the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes. The goal of the Assessor's office is to make equitable assessments of each property to insure taxes are distributed fairly, relative to the value of similar kinds of property.
