The responsibility of the Assessor's Office is to discover, identify, classify and value all taxable real and personal property in Eagle County according to the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes. Our goal is to assess each property equitably to ensure a fair distribution of taxes relative to the value of similar kinds of property.
