shawn.markmann@eaglecounty.us Eagle County Animal Services will host a Meet Your Vet Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 11. The event will take place at the Eagle County Animal Shelter, located at 1400 Fairgrounds Rd. in Eagle.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet local veterinarians, tour the animal shelter, watch a pet safety puppet show, and see the Sheriff's Office K-9s in action. Snacks will be provided and community members are invited to bring their pet to the fenced dog park.
