Animals found by citizens or Animal Services staff that are brought to the shelter, are held for at least five days. If no one claims the animal, it is examined by our veterinarian and eventually put up for adoption. Below is a list of impounded animals currently at the Eagle County Animal Shelter. If you have lost a pet and see it pictured here, please call us at 328-3647 immediately to make arrangements to pick up your friend. One of the best parts of our job is reuniting pets with their owners! There will be a fee when you come to pick up your pet, so please bring cash or a check.

Lost & Found Pets Lost pets can be listed in this area of the Animal Services website. Please be sure to list the location the pet was last seen and your contact information. Please contact 328-DOGS as well as listing your pet on this site so that we may register your pet in our lost and found log. This list is often checked more frequently than the website.
